But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be at rest from fear of evil.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

But if ye thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if ye really do justice between a man and his neighbour,

Peradventure they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil which I purpose to do unto them because of the wickedness of their doings.

O Israel, return unto Jehovah thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. Take with you words, and turn to Jehovah; say unto him, Forgive all iniquity, and receive us graciously; so will we render the calves of our lips. For thus saith Jehovah unto the house of Israel: Seek ye me, and ye shall live. Seek Jehovah, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.
