Then he said to Thomas, Reach here thy finger and behold my hands and reach here thy hand and thrust it into my side and be not unbelieving, but faithful. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed; blessed are those that have not seen and yet have believed.



who humbles himself to behold the things that are in heaven and in the earth!


For the LORD, who is high and lifted up, looks upon the humble, but the proud he does not know.

And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why does your Master eat with publicans and sinners?

for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden; for, behold, from now on all generations shall call me blessed.

arose from the supper and laid aside his garments and took a towel and girded himself.

And having said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
