The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith. Better is a dinner of vegetables where love is than a fatted calf and hatred therewith.
Better is the poor that walks in his integrity than he that is perverse in his lips and is a fool.

How much better is it to acquire wisdom than gold! and to acquire understanding is worth more than silver!
It is better to humble your spirit with the lowly than to divide the spoil with the proud.
