And as they were eating, Jesus took bread and, when he had blessed it, he broke it and gave to his disciples, saying, "Take, eat, this is my body." And when he had taken the cup and given thanks, he gave it to them, saying. "Drink from it, all of you; for this is my blood of the Covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

But the free gift is not like the transgression; for if through the transgression of that one man the rest on men died, much more did the grace of God and the gift given in his grace in the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow unto the rest of men.

For sin, when it had gained a vantage-ground through the commandment, beguiled me, and through it slew me.

For they who live after the flesh, give their attention to the things of the flesh; But they who live after the spirit, give their attention to spiritual things. To be earthly minded means death; To be spiritually minded means life and peace.

Therefore, brothers, we are debtors??ut not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh; for if you go on living according to the flesh, you are on the road to die; but if by the Spirit you keep putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

even while we were dead in our trespasses, made us live together with Christ (it is by grace you have been saved). together with him He raised us from the dead, and together with Christ Jesus seated us in the heavenly realm,

What then if you were to behold the Son of man ascending to where he was before? "The spirit is what gives life; the flesh is of no avail. The words which I have been speaking to you, are spirit and are life.

My children, I am writing this to you that you may not continue to sin; but if any one sin, we ever have a Comforter before the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous. And he is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. He who says, "I know Him," but does no continue obeying his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; bit if any man obey his word, in him truly is the love of God made perfect. By this we come to know that we are in him. By who says he "remains in him" ought to spend his life as he spent his.

"If you love me, you will obey my commandments, "and I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Comforter to be with you forever, the Spirit of Truth. "The world cannot receive him because it does not see him nor know him, but you know him, for he is ever with you and within you. "I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you. "Yet a little while and the world shall see me no more, but you shall see me; because I live, you, too, shall live. "At that day you shall understand that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

For consider your own calling, brothers, that not many wise in earthly wisdom, not many powerful, not many of noble birth, have been called. No, God has chosen the world's folly to confound its philosophy; and the world's weakness to confound its strength. The world's base things has God chosen, and the things that are not, to bring to naught the things that are; read more.
so that no mortal man should glory in his presence. It is of him that you are in Christ Jesus, whom God made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

Take care lest any man drag you away captive by his philosophy which is a vain deceit, following the traditions of men and the world's crude notions, and not Christ. For it is in Christ that all the fullness of deity dwells bodily, and in him you have your fulness, and he is the Lord of all the principalities and powers. read more.
In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands; even in putting off your sensual nature in Christ's own circumcision, when you were buried with him in baptism. In baptism also you were raised with him, through your faith in the energy of that God who raised him from the dead.

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have confidence toward God, and whatever we ask we are receiving from him, because we are keeping his commandments and doing those things that are pleasing in his sight. His commandment is this, that we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another as he has commanded us to do. read more.
He who keeps his commandments is abiding in Him, and Christ in him. By this we know that Christ is abiding in us, by the Spirit which he has given us.

We know that we are of God, and the whole world is lying in the Evil One. And we know that the Son of God is come, and has granted us and understanding, so that we may come to know him who is true. And we are in him who is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and life eternal.

The crowd that remained on the other side of the sea had seen that there was only one small boat there, and that Jesus had not gone aboard with his disciples, but that his disciples had gone away by themselves. So, on the following day, when boats came from Tiberias near the place were they had eaten bread, after the Lord had given thanks, they got into the boats themselves, when they saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, and went to Capernaum to look for Jesus. read more.

"In solemn truth I tell you," said Jesus in reply, "Moses did not give you the bread out of heaven, but my Father does give you the true bread out of heaven; "for the bread of God is what come down from heaven, and gives life to the world." "Ah, Sir," said they, "evermore give us this bread." "I myself am the bread of life," answered Jesus; "he who comes to me shall never hunger, and he that believes on me shall never thirst again. "But as I told you, you have seen me, and yet you do not believe. "Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me; and him who comes to me I will never reject. "For I am come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me. "And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should not lose one of all those whom he has given me, but should raise them up at the last day. "For this is my Fathers will, that every one who beholds the Son and believes on him, shall have eternal life. and I will raise him up at the last day." Then the Jews began to find fault with Jesus, because he said, "I am the bread which comes down out of heaven," and they kept asking. "Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph? Do we not know his father and mother? How is it that he now says, 'I have come down from heaven'?" "Do not find fault with me among yourselves," answered Jesus; "no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him; then I will raise him up on the last day. "It is written in the Prophets, "And they shall all of them be taught of God. Every one who has listened to the father and learns from him, comes to me. "Not that any one has seen the Father, except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father. "I tell you solemnly that he who believes has eternal life. "I am the bread of life. "Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; yet they died. "This is the bread that comes down from heaven, that one may eat thereof and never die.
