Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
For this is your calling; because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his footsteps;

This is how we may know that we have come to know Him, by always keeping his commandments. He who says, "I know Him," but does no continue obeying his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; bit if any man obey his word, in him truly is the love of God made perfect. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have confidence toward God, and whatever we ask we are receiving from him, because we are keeping his commandments and doing those things that are pleasing in his sight.
