The man called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them, and he came close to Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus asked him, "Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?" When those who were around Jesus saw what was about to take place, they asked, "Lord, should we attack with our swords?"

After Jesus had said all of this, he went with his disciples across the Kidron valley to a place where there was a garden, which he and his disciples entered. Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, because Jesus often met there with his disciples.

I gave my back to those who beat me and my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard. I did not turn away my face from insults and spitting.
He was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he didn't open his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, as a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
This was the passage of Scripture he was reading: "Like a sheep he was led away to be slaughtered, and like a lamb is silent before its shearer, so he does not open his mouth.

When the days grew closer for Jesus to be taken up to heaven, he was determined to continue his journey to Jerusalem.
They answered him, "Jesus from Nazareth." Jesus told them, "I AM." Judas, the man who betrayed him, was standing with them.
