Thematic Bible: Men-pleasers
Thematic Bible
Ministers » Should not be » Men-pleasers
Do I now seek the favor of men, or of God? Am I striving to please men? If I were still pleasing men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
We always speak, as God wants us to. He has judged us worthy to be entrusted with the Good News. We do not try to please people, but to please God, who tests our motives (examines our hearts).
Servants » Characteristics of wicked servants: » Men-pleasers
Servants, obey your masters according to the flesh in all things, not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, respecting God.
This should not be in the way of eye service, as men-pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from a complete heart;
