For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his steps.
great in counsel and mighty in work, whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the children of men, to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.
Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways;
When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they hidden a snare for me.

But Jehovah said to Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him; for it is not as man seeth; for man looketh upon the outward appearance, but Jehovah looketh upon the heart.
The heart is deceitful above all things, and incurable; who can know it? I Jehovah search the heart, I try the reins, even to give each one according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

I know, Jehovah, that the way of man is not his own; it is not in a man that walketh to direct his steps.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes; but Jehovah weigheth the hearts.

because the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears towards their supplications; but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
The eyes of Jehovah are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Bold are they, self-willed; they do not fear speaking injuriously of dignities: when angels, who are greater in might and power, do not bring against them, before the Lord, an injurious charge. But these, as natural animals without reason, made to be caught and destroyed, speaking injuriously in things they are ignorant of, shall also perish in their own corruption, receiving the reward of unrighteousness; accounting ephemeral indulgence pleasure; spots and blemishes, rioting in their own deceits, feasting with you; having eyes full of adultery, and that cease not from sin, alluring unestablished souls; having a heart practised in covetousness, children of curse; having left the straight way they have gone astray, having followed in the path of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the reward of unrighteousness; but had reproof of his own wickedness the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the folly of the prophet. These are springs without water, and mists driven by storm, to whom the gloom of darkness is reserved for ever. For while speaking great highflown words of vanity, they allure with the lusts of the flesh, by dissoluteness, those who have just fled those who walk in error, promising them liberty, while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a man is subdued, by him is he also brought into slavery.

There are those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
