Yet if the unbelieving departeth, let him depart: the brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases : but God hath called us in peace.

In like manner, ye wives, be in subjection to your won husbands; that, even if any obey not the word, they may without the word be gained by the behavior of their wives;

And there came unto him Pharisees, trying him, and saying, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answered and said, Have ye not read, that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?read more.
So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. They say unto him, Why then did Moses command to give a bill of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses for your hardness of heart suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it hath not been so. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her when she is put away committeth adultery.

but I say unto you, that every one that putteth away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, maketh her an adulteress: and whosoever shall marry her when she is put away committeth adultery.

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; them that are illtreated, as being yourselves also in the body.

Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

Wives, be in subjection unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Blessings are upon the head of the righteous; But violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life; But violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

Ye know this , my beloved brethren. But let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted, And justice for the needy.

Jehovah executeth righteous acts, And judgments for all that are oppressed.

learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear.

If any man thinketh himself to be religious, while he bridleth not his tongue but deceiveth his heart, this man's religion is vain.

out of the same mouth cometh forth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and railing, be put away from you, with all malice:
