For if men are controlled by their earthly natures, they give their minds to earthly things. If they are controlled by their spiritual natures, they give their minds to spiritual things. There arose also a dispute among them which of them should be regarded as greatest. We know what love is--through Christ's having laid down His life on our behalf; and in the same way we ought to lay down our lives for our brother men.

A new commandment I give you, to love one another; that as I have loved you, you also may love one another.
