For all creation, gazing eagerly as if with outstretched neck, is waiting and longing to see the manifestation of the sons of God. And if the Spirit of Him who raised up Jesus from the dead is dwelling in you, He who raised up Christ from the dead will give Life also to your mortal bodies because of His Spirit who dwells in you.

It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in a state of decay, it is raised free from decay; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

But in accordance with His promise we are expecting new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness will dwell.

Dear friends, we are now God's children, but what we are to be in the future has not yet been fully revealed. We know that if Christ reappears we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is.

And I saw a new Heaven and a new earth; for the first Heaven and the first earth were gone, and the sea no longer exists.
