But Peter responding said to Him, If all shall be offended in thee, I will never be offended. And having confidence in this, I know that I shall abide with you all, unto your promotion and the joy of your faith;

Indeed then I hope to send him, so soon as I may learn the things concerning myself: but I trust in the Lord that I myself will come speedily.

For we are the circumcision, who serve the Spirit of God, and boast in Christ Jesus, also having no confidence in the flesh: even though also having confidence in the flesh. If any other one seems to have confidence in the flesh, I the more:

Be not carried away with fantastical and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, in which those going round were not profited.

Then they understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of the (bread) of the Pharisees and Sadducees, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
