For the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus had not yet been glorified. Some of the crowd who had been listening to these discourses began to say, "Without a doubt this man is a Prophet." Other said, "He is the Christ." But others were saying. "Surely the Christ is not to come out of Galilee, is he? "Does not the Scripture say that the Christ is coming of the descendants of David, and from Bethlehem, David's town?" So a division arose in the crowd concerning him. Some of them wished to apprehend him, but no one laid hands on him.

Acts 8:26-38

And Philip said, "If you believe with your whole heart, you may." The eunuch answered, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." And he ordered the chariot to stop; and both of them, Philip and the eunuch, went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.

Romans 8:38-39
