For, if we live, we live to the Lord; and, if we die, we die to the Lord: whether we live, therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

And I heard a voice from Heaven, saying, "Write: Happy are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth! Yea," saith the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them."

we are of good courage, I say, and are well pleased to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.

And, crying with a loud voice, Jesus said, "Father, into Thy hands I commit My spirit." And, having said this, He expired.

For we know that, if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens. For verily, in this we groan, longing to be clothed upon with our habitation which is from Heaven; if, indeed, being also clothed, we will not be found naked.
