How many are my iniquities and sins? Show me my transgression and my sin.

Tremble with fear and do not sin! Meditate as you lie in bed, and repent of your ways! (Selah)

When I refused to confess my sin, my whole body wasted away, while I groaned in pain all day long. For day and night you tormented me; you tried to destroy me in the intense heat of summer. That is why many of you are weak and sick, and quite a few are dead. But if we examined ourselves, we would not be judged.

since you are demanding proof that Christ is speaking through me. He is not weak toward you but is powerful among you. For indeed he was crucified by reason of weakness, but he lives because of God's power. For we also are weak in him, but we will live together with him, because of God's power toward you.
