Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,
"I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. But if someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.
So, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;
No, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head."
What then is my reward? Just this: that in my preaching I may offer the gospel free of charge, and so not make full use of my right in the gospel.
Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
