For sin shall not have dominion over you; for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Thus ye also, my brethren, are dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye might be married to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we may bring forth fruit to God.

but the body is of Christ.

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices which they offer year by year continually, make the comers thereunto perfect.

but grace and truth was by Jesus Christ.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

that I may gain Christ, And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: (for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem those under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made you free, and be not intangled again with the yoke of bondage.

For he is our peace, he who hath made both one, having broken down the middle wall of partition, Having abolished by his flesh the enmity, the law of commandments, through his decrees, that he might make the two one new man in himself, so making peace:

And you who were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses, Having blotted out by his decrees the hand-writing against us, which was contrary to us; and having nailed it to his cross, he took it out of the way.

Manifestly declared to be the letter of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God, not in tables of stone, but in the fleshly tables of the heart.

Is then the law against the promises of God? God forbid. But if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness would have been by the law. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did, by which we draw nigh to God.
