For sin shall not have dominion over you; for ye are not under law, but under grace.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that ye might be joined to another??o Him Who was raised from the dead??hat we might bear fruit to God.

which are a shadow of things to come, but the body is Christ's.

because the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

for Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one who believes.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; because it has been written, "Cursed is every one who is hung upon a tree";

Is the law, then, against the promises of God? It could not be! For, if a law had been given, which was able to make alive, truly righteousness would have been by law; but the Scripture shuts up all things under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
