For, while we were yet weak, Christ, in due season, died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; for, peradventure, in behalf of a good man, some one even dares to die. But God commendeth His own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
What, then, shall we say? Is there unrighteousness with God? It could not be! For He saith to Moses, "I will have mercy on whomsoever I have mercy; and I will have compassion on whomsoever I have compassion." So, then, it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God Who hath mercy.
in Whom we have our redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace,
Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief; but for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me, as chief, Christ Jesus might show forth all His longsuffering for an example to those about to believe on Him unto eternal life.

Who delivered us out of the dominion of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love; in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins;
Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God our Father Who loved us and gave us eternal consolation and good hope in grace.
And they, indeed, have been made priests many in number, because by death they are hindered from continuing; but He, because of His abiding forever, hath His priesthood unchangeable. Whence also He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, since He is ever living to intercede in their behalf.

But, when the kindness and the benevolence of God our Savior appeared, not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to His mercy, He saved us through a washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit; Whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior;read more.
that having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
And He spake also this parable to some who had trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised the rest: Two men went up into the temple to pray; one a Pharisee, and the other a tax-collector. I do not set aside the grace of God; for, if righteousness is through law, then Christ died needlessly!
But this I say: A covenant previously confirmed by God, the law, which came into existence four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate, that it should make the promise of no effect. For, if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God has freely given it to Abraham through promise.

But now, apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even a righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ, to all who believe; for there is no distinction; for all sinned, and are coming short of the glory of God;read more.

For, if those who are of the law are heirs, faith has been made void, and the promise has been brought to nought; for the law works wrath; but where there is no law, there is no transgression. For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all
Having been justified, therefore, by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom also we have had access by faith into this grace in which we have been standing; and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Let us, therefore, come with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and find grace for seasonable help.
