15 Bible Verses about Leadership

For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily,

So then let no one glory in men. For all things are yours;

Remember your leaders, who spoke to you the word of God; and considering well the end of their manner of life, imitate their faith.

And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into the mountain to pray; and he continued all night in prayer to God. And when it was day, he called to him his disciples; and he chose from them twelve, whom he also named apostles; Simon, whom he named Peter, and Andrew his brother, and James and John, and Philip and Bartholomew,read more.

Brethren, even if a man be detected in a fault, do ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

not as lording it over your allotted charge, but being examples to the flock;

Obey your leaders, and submit yourselves to them; for they keep watch in behalf of your souls, as those who must give an account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief; for this is not for your advantage.

And we beseech you, brethren, to know those who labor among you, and preside over you in the Lord, and admonish you,

even as the Son of man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.

But it is not so among you; but whoever desireth to become great among you, will be your minister;
