Don't think that I am come to abolish the law or the prophets: I am not come to abolish, but to complete them. Moses and Elias likewise appear'd, and were in conference with Jesus.

and presently they saw Moses and Elias conversing with him.

two persons of a glorious form were seen talking with him; they were Moses, and Elias,

but as the architect is of much greater dignity than the house he has made; so the glory which Christ received was greater than that of Moses.
