For thus hath the Lord commanded us: "I have set thee to be a light of the gentiles, that thou mayst bring salvation even to the end of the earth."
Be it therefore known to you, that to the gentiles this salvation of God hath been sent; they, moreover, will hear.
I say then, Did they stumble in order to fall? God forbid! But by their offence salvation is come to the gentiles to excite them to emulation.
that the gentiles are fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers with us of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel;

But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that the preaching might be fully accomplished by me, and that all the gentiles might hear; and I was delivered out of the lions mouth.

For what have I to do with judging those who are without? Do not ye judge those who are within? But those who are without, God will judge. Do ye put away that bad man from among yourselves.
and to study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; that ye may walk becomingly toward those without, and may have need of nothing.
moreover he must also have a good report from them that are without, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the Devil.
