And then Jesus went to Peter's house, and saw his wife's mother lying, sick of a fever.

And forthwith, as soon as they were come out of the Synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew with James and John.

And he rose up and came out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's mother-in-law was taken with a great fever; And they made intercession to him for her.

Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

and so was also James and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, "Fear not, from henceforth thou shalt catch men."

As Jesus walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brethren, Simon which was called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he said unto them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." And they straightaway left their nets, and followed him.

And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James, the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, even as they were in the ship mending their nets. And anon he called them. And they left their father Zebedee in the ship with his hired servants, and went their way after him.

One of the two, which heard John speak, and followed Jesus, was Andrew; Simon Peter's brother. The same found his brother Simon first, and said unto him, "We have found Messiah," which is by interpretation, Anointed. And brought him to Jesus. And Jesus beheld him and said, "Thou art Simon the son of Jonas, thou shalt be called Cephas," which is by interpretation, a stone.

And then Jesus went to Peter's house, and saw his wife's mother lying, sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

And Simon's mother-in-law lay sick of a fever, and anon they told him of her. And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever forsook her by and by: And she ministered unto them.

And when they were come to Capernaum, they that were wont to gather poll money, came to Peter and said, "Doth your Master pay tribute?" He said, "Yea." And when he was come into the house, Jesus spake first to him, saying, "What thinkest thou Simon? Of whom do the kings of the earth take tribute, or poll money? Of their children, or of strangers?" Peter said unto him, "Of strangers." Then said Jesus unto him again, "Then are the children free.read more.
Nevertheless, lest we should offend them, go to the sea and cast in thine angle, and take the fish that first cometh up: and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of twenty pence: that take, and pay for me and thee."

When he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, "Launch out into the deep, and let slip your nets to make a draught." And Simon answered, and said to him, "Master, we have laboured all night, and have taken nothing. Neverthelater, at thy word I will loose forth the net." And when they had so done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes. And their net brake:read more.
but they made signs to their fellows which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and they filled both the ships, that they sunk again. When Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Jesus' knees saying, "Lord go from me, for I am a sinful man."

There were together Simon Peter and Thomas, which is called Didymus: and Nathaniel of Cana a city of Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of the disciples. Jesus said unto them, "Sirs, have ye any meat?" They answered him no. And he said unto them, "Cast out the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find." They cast out, and anon they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

And after six days Jesus took Peter and James and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain out of the way, and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his clothes were as white as the light.

And he suffered no man to follow him more than Peter, and James and John the brother of James.

And when he came to the house, he suffered no man to go in with him, save Peter, James and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.

Then answered Peter and said to him, "Declare unto us this parable."

Then came Peter to him, and said, "Master, how oft shall I forgive my brother, if he sin against me? Shall I forgive him seven times?"

He said unto them, "But whom say ye that I am?" Simon Peter answered, and said, "Thou art Christ, the son of the living God."

And he said unto them, "But whom say ye that I am?" Peter answered and said unto him, "Thou art very Christ."

And he said unto them, "Who say ye that I am?" Peter answered and said, "Thou art the Christ of God."

And we have believed, and known, that thou art Christ, the son of the living God."

Then answered Peter, and said to Jesus, "Master here is good being for us. If thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah."

And Peter answered and said to Jesus, "Master, here is good being for us, let us make three tabernacles: one for thee, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."

And it chanced, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, "Master, it is good being here for us. Let us make three tabernacles: one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah." And wist not what he said.

Then answered Peter, and said to him, "Behold we have forsaken all, and have followed thee: what shall we have therefore?"

And Peter began to say unto him, "Lo, we have forsaken all, and have followed thee."

Then Peter said, "Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee."

And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. And when they had found him, they said unto him, "All men seek for thee."

Then Simon Peter answered him, "Master, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life;

Peter answered him, and said, "Master, if thou be he, bid me come unto thee on the water." And he said, "Come." And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

But Peter took him aside, and began to rebuke him saying, "Master, favor thyself, this shall not come unto thee."

And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him aside, and began to chide him.

Peter said unto him, "If I should die with thee, yet would I not deny thee." Likewise also said all the disciples.

And he spake bolder, "No, if I should die with thee, I will not deny thee." Likewise also said they all.

And he said unto him, "Lord, I am ready to go with thee into prison, and to death."

Peter said unto him, "Lord why cannot I follow thee now? I will give my life for thy sake."

Then came he to Simon Peter. And Peter said to him, "Lord shalt thou wash my feet?" Jesus answered and said unto him, "What I do, thou knowest not now, but thou shalt know hereafter." Peter said unto him, "Thou shalt not wash my feet while the world standeth." Jesus answered him, "If I wash thee not, thou shalt have no part with me."

Simon Peter had a sword, and drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.

And Jesus answered, and said to him, "Happy art thou, Simon the son of Jonas, for flesh and blood hath not opened unto thee that, but my father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter. And upon this rock, I will build my congregation: and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatsoever thou bindest upon earth, it shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou loosest on earth, it shall be loosed in heaven."

Then turned he about, and said unto Peter, "Come after me, Satan: thou offendest me, because thou savourest not Godly things, but worldly things."

Then he turned about, and looked on his disciples, and rebuked Peter saying, "Go after me Satan. For thou savourest not the things of God but the things of men."

Jesus said unto him, "Verily I say unto thee, that this same night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice."

And Jesus said unto him, "Verily I say unto thee this day even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice."

And he said, "I tell thee Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, till thou have thrice denied that thou knowest me."

Jesus answered him, "Wilt thou give thy life for my sake? Verily, verily I say unto thee, the cock shall not crow, till thou have denied me thrice."

And he came unto the disciples, and found them asleep, and said to Peter, "What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye fall not into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

And he came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, sleepest thou? Couldest not thou watch with me one hour? Watch ye, and pray, lest ye enter into temptation: the spirit is ready, but the flesh is weak."

Peter turned about, and saw that disciple whom Jesus loved following, which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, "Lord which is he that shall betray thee?" When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, "Lord what shall he here do?" Jesus said unto him, "If I will have him to tarry till I come, what is that to thee? Follow thou me."

Peter sat without in the palace, and a damsel came to him, saying, "Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee." But he denied before them all saying, "I know not what thou sayest." When he was gone out into the porch, another wench saw him, and said unto them that were there, "This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth."read more.
And again he denied with an oath that he knew the man. And after a while, came unto him they that stood by, and said unto Peter, "Surely thou art even one of them, for thy speech betrayeth thee." Then began he to curse and to swear, that he knew not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

And Peter was beneath in the palace, and there came one of the wenches of the highest priest; And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked on him, and said, "Was not thou also with Jesus of Nazareth?" And he denied it, saying, "I know him not, neither know I what thou sayest." And he went out into the porch, and the cock crew.read more.

And anon after, they that stood by, said again to Peter, "Surely thou art one of them, for thou art of Galilee, and thy speech agreeth thereto." And he began to curse and to swear, saying, "I know not this man of whom ye speak."

Then took they him, and led him, and brought him to the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off. When they had kindled a fire in the midst of the palace, and were set down together, Peter also sat down among them. And one of the wenches, as he sat, beheld him by the fire and set good eyesight on him, and said, "This same was also with him."read more.
Then he denied him, saying, "Woman I know him not." And after a little while, another saw him and said, "Thou art also of them." And Peter said, "Man I am not." And about the space of a hour after, another affirmed, saying, "Verily even this fellow was with him, for he is of Galilee." And Peter said, "Man, I know not what thou sayest." And immediately while he yet spake, the cock crew.

And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and another disciple: that disciple was known of the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest. But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple which was known unto the high priest, and spake to the damsel that kept the door, and brought in Peter. Then said the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, "Art not thou one of this man's disciples?" He said, "I am not."read more.
The servants and the ministers stood there, and had made a fire of coals. For it was cold, and they warmed themselves. Peter also stood among them and warmed himself.

Simon Peter stood and warmed himself, and they said unto him, "Art not thou also one of his disciples?" He denied it, and said, "I am not." One of the servants of the high priest, his cousin whose ear Peter smote off, said unto him, "Did not I see thee in the garden with him?" Peter denied it again: and immediately the cock crew.

And Peter remembered the words of Jesus, which he said unto him, "Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice": and went out at the doors and wept bitterly.

And again the cock crew. And Peter remembered the word that Jesus said unto him. "Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice," and began to weep.

And the Lord turned back and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the words of the Lord, how he said unto him, "Before the cock crow thou shalt deny me thrice." And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

And they rose up the same hour, and returned again to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them, which said, "The Lord is risen in deed, and hath appeared to Simon."

and that he was buried, and that he arose again the third day according to the scriptures, and that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve.

When they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon the son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these?" He said unto him, "Yea Lord, thou knowest, that I love thee." He said unto him, "Feed my lambs." He said to him again the second time, "Simon the son of Jonas, lovest thou me?" He said unto him, "Yea Lord thou knowest that I love thee." He said unto him, "Feed my sheep." He said unto him the third time, "Simon the son of Jonas, lovest thou me?" And Peter sorrowed because he said to him the third time, "Lovest thou me," and said unto him, "Lord, thou knowest all things, thou knowest that I love thee." Jesus said unto him, "Feed my sheep.
