Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the GOD who is Lord of all, the God of Israel. For I will cast the Gentiles out of thy presence and enlarge thy borders; neither shall anyone covet thy land when thou shalt go up to be seen before the LORD thy God three times a year.
And his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.

This shall be the punishment of the sin of Egypt and of the sin of all the Gentiles that do not come up to celebrate the feast of the tabernacles.
After these things there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught.
I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. Our feet stood within thy gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem, that one which is built as a city that is well united togetherread more.
Because the tribes went up there, the tribes of JAH, the testimony to Israel, to praise the name of the LORD.

And how do we hear each one speak in our own tongue, with which we were brought up? And he set the one in Bethel and the other he put in Dan. And this became an occasion for sin, for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.
And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are one hundred and thirty years; few and evil have the days of the years of my life been and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but seeing them afar off and believing them and embracing them and confessing that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those that say such things declare plainly that they seek their native country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from which they came out, they might have had time to have returned.read more.
But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one; therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.
