Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.

Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no might against this great company that comes against us; neither know we what to do, but our eyes are on you."

You who tell good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength. Lift it up. Do not be afraid. Say to the cities of Judah, "Behold, your God." Behold, the Lord GOD will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.

seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue; by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.

All the crowd sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all.

And coming into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, "Where did this man get this wisdom, and these mighty works?

and said to his servants, "This is John the Baptist. He is risen from the dead. That is why these powers work in him."

King Herod heard this, for his name had become known, and he said, "John the Baptist has risen from the dead, and therefore these powers are at work in him."

And immediately Jesus, perceiving in himself that the power had gone out from him, turned around in the crowd, and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"

But Jesus said, "Someone did touch me, for I perceived that power has gone out of me."

Amazement came on all, and they spoke together, one with another, saying, "What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out."

It happened on one of those days, that he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and teachers of the Law sitting by, who had come out of every village of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was with him to heal.

even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

Being let go, they came to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them. When they heard it, they lifted up their voice to God with with one accord, and said, "Sovereign Lord, it is you who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who by the Holy Spirit, through the mouth of your servant, David, said, 'Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?read more.
The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take council together, against the Lord, and against his Messiah.' "For truly, in this city against your holy servant, Jesus, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together to do whatever your hand and your council foreordained to happen. Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus." When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty in God for the tearing down of strongholds,

For I am not ashamed of the Good News, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;

For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Let us not come into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'

He said to them, "Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see the Kingdom of God come with power."

But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing. And I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith would not rest in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all.

But Saul increased more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived at Damascus, proving that this is the Messiah.

of which I was made a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.

and that our Good News came to you not in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we showed ourselves to be among you for your sake.

For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but endure hardship for the Good News according to the power of God,

Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.

having disarmed the rulers and authorities, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

It shall happen in that day that the LORD will punish the army of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth on the earth.

Yes, truth is lacking; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. The LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, wrath to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which the breath of the LORD drives. "A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from disobedience in Jacob," says the LORD.

And the court shall sit in judgment, and they shall take away his dominion, consumed and completely destroyed forever. The kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the holy ones of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.'

Through his cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper by his influence, and he shall be great in his own mind, and without warning he shall destroy many. He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be shattered, but not by human hands.

For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world's rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now is come the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.

standing far away for the fear of her torment, saying, 'Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city. For your judgment has come in one hour.'

What man is he who shall live and not see death, who shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.

He has swallowed up death forever. The Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for the LORD has spoken it.

I will ransom them from the power of Sheol. I will redeem them from death. Death, where are your plagues? Sheol, where is your sting? "Compassion will be hidden from my eyes.

Now God raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power.

The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
