I press toward the mark for the prize of the heavenly calling of God in Christ Jesus.

but I beat down my body, and bring it into subjection, lest perhaps, when I have been a herald to others, I should myself be rejected as unworthy.
holding forth the word of life, that I may have whereof to boast against the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain, or labor in vain.
And I went up by revelation, and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the gentiles; but privately to those who were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
But I count life of no value to me, so that I may finish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the glad tidings of the grace of God.
