Therefore no flesh will be justified in his sight by works of the law, for through the law comes knowledge of sin.

Where then is our boasting? It is excluded. On what law? On the law of works? No, but on the law of faith.
For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God.
For who regards you as different? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?
If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me.
For those who are circumcised do not even keep the Law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh. But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
But whatever was gain to me, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count everything to be loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christthe righteousness that comes from God and is by faith,
