Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said, "I will never leave you, nor will I forsake you."

Jesus answered her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. The water that I shall give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw."

When it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, "This is a remote place, and it's already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food." Jesus said, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat." They said to him, "We have only five loaves here and two fish."read more.
He said, "Bring them here to me," Then he commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave them to the multitudes. And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.

When it was late in the day, his disciples came to him and said, "This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late. Send them away, so they can go to the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves something to eat." But he answered them, "You give them something to eat." And they said to him, "Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread, and give it to them to eat?"read more.
But he said to them, "How many loaves do you have? Go and see." And when they found out they said, "Five, and two fish." Then he commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass. So they sat down in groups, of hundreds and fifties. And taking the five loaves and the two fish he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; and he divided the two fish among them all. And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and of the fish. Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.

Now the day began to wear away; and the twelve came and said to him, "Send the crowd away, to go to the surrounding villages and country, to lodge and get provisions; for we are here in a deserted place." But he said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they said, "We have no more than five loaves and two fishunless we go and buy food for all these people." For there were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, "Make them sit down in groups of about fifty each."read more.

And he said, 'I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build larger ones; and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry."' But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have prepared?' So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction.read more.
For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

For it was fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, blameless, unstained, separated from sinners, exalted above the heavens. And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
