And it came to pass on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of an exceedingly loud trumpet. And all the people who were in the camp trembled. And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the lower part of the mount. And mount Sinai, the whole of it, smoked, because LORD descended upon it in fire, and the smoke of it ascended as the smoke of a furnace. And the whole mount quaked greatly.
And the appearance of the glory of LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the sons of Israel.
Clouds and darkness are round about him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
And out of the throne proceeds lightnings and voices and thunders. And seven lamps of fire burned before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
And the agent who took the censer, also filled it from the fire of the altar, and cast it to the earth. And there occurred thunders, and voices, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
