Jesus suffered outside the gate that he might sanctify the people through his own blood. Let us therefore go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.

Here is how you know the Spirit of God, every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is from God.
He who can hear should listen to what the Spirit says to the congregations! To him who overcomes I will give the right to eat the fruit of the tree of life that grows in the (Paradise) Garden of God.'
The disciples asked him: Why do you speak in illustrations? He responded: You are allowed to know the divine secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but it is not for others to know. (The Greek word for you is plural and is applied to the disciples as a group.)
Who do you say that I am? Simon Peter answered: You are the Christ, the Son of the living God! Jesus answered him: Bless you, Simon son of John. This knowledge came from my Father in heaven and not from man.
He opened their minds that they might understand the scriptures. He said: It is written that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day.
