Do not think I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I came, not to destroy, but to fulfill (perfect) (execute) (accomplish). I solemnly tell you, heaven and earth would pass away before one small letter (detail) will pass away from the Law. All things must be accomplished.

But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets. God makes people righteous through their active faith in Jesus Christ. God does this to all who believe in Christ, because there is no difference at all.

Continue in the things you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them. From childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to make you wise to salvation through faith that is in Christ Jesus.

Consider the patience of our Lord as salvation. Just as our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you. He spoke about these things in his letters. Some things are hard to understand. The untaught and unstable distort them as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

I testify to every man who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book. If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book.

He is your God. I am telling you everything he has commanded. So do not add anything or take anything away.

Be careful to do what I command you. Do not add to it nor take away from it.

Long ago on many occasions and in many ways God spoke to our fathers through the prophets. He has in these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, through whom he made the ages (Greek: aion: ages of time, perpetuity, worlds, generations, human entities).

Pay close attention to the things heard so we do not drift away. If the word spoken through angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward (penalty). How shall we escape, if we neglect such a great salvation? God also testified about it with signs, wonders, and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit given according to his will.

You have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads (thousands of thousands) of angels, to the general assembly and congregation of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just (righteous) (holy) men made perfect (mature) (having all needed qualities). You have come to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks in a better way than the blood of Abel.read more.
Be careful, then, and do not refuse to hear him who speaks. Those who refused to hear the one who gave the divine message on earth did not escape. How much less shall we escape then, if we turn away from the one who speaks from heaven! His voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised: I will once more shake not only the earth but also heaven. The words once more plainly show that the created things will be shaken and removed, so that the things that cannot be shaken will remain.

God gave me this stewardship to perform for your good. He has made me a servant of the congregation. It is for the task of fully proclaiming the word of God. It is the secret he hid through all past ages from all human beings but has now revealed to his holy ones. It was God's will to make known his secret to the people of the nations, this rich and glorious secret that he has for people. The secret is that Christ is in union with you, which means that you will share in his glory.

The true light, which gives light to every man, came into the world. (Isaiah 49:6) The world was made through him. He was in the world and the world did not recognize him. He came to his own. They did not receive him!read more.
He gave the right to become children of God to all who received him. Even to those who believe in his name. They were born from God. It was not from blood, or the will of the flesh, or the will of man. The Word [Jesus] became flesh (a human being) and lived with us. We saw the glory of the only begotten son from the Father. He was full of loving-kindness and truth. John spoke about him and declared: He is the one I said would come after me. He is greater than I am because he lived before me. Out of the fullness of his undeserved kindness he gives us one blessing after another. The law came through Moses. Loving-kindness and truth came through Jesus Christ. No man has ever seen God. The only begotten God-like one who is closest to the Father (in the bosom of the Father) tells us about him. (Psalm 8:5)

Jesus proclaimed: I am the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father except through me.

There is no salvation in anyone else. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

When the full time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

He existed in the form (shape and nature) of God but did not try to be equal with God. He did not even consider it! He emptied (humbled) himself by taking the form of a servant. He was made in the likeness of men. He obtained the appearance as a man, humbled himself, and became obedient even to death, yes, death on the stake.

Since the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also took part of the same things, that through death he might destroy him that had the power to cause death, [Satan] the Devil.

The god of this age (world) (religious, social, political, and economic arrangement) has blinded the minds of unbelievers that the light of the good news of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine on them.

He is the image (likeness) (representation) of the invisible God. He is the firstborn (Greek: prototokos: childbirth, offspring) of all creation.

He existed in the form (shape and nature) of God but did not try to be equal with God. He did not even consider it!

God's Son is the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his being. He sustains all things by his powerful word. After Jesus purged our sins, he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

The Word [Jesus] became flesh (a human being) and lived with us. We saw the glory of the only begotten son from the Father. He was full of loving-kindness and truth.

I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot endure them now. When the Spirit of truth comes it will guide you to all truth for it will not speak from itself. It will speak the things it hears and declare to you the things that are to come. It will glorify me and will take of what I have and declare it to you.read more.
All the things the Father has are mine. That is why I said [the Spirit] takes what I have and declares it to you.

I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another helper, that he [the Father] may be with you forever. It is the Spirit of the truth. The world cannot receive it. The world does not see or know it. You know it because it lives with you and will be with you.

I will send the helper from the Father, the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father to bear witness of me.

We are from God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the vital principle (spirit) of truth, and the principle (spirit) of deception (error).

This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ. He did not come with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. The Spirit gives witness because it is the truth.

He who can hear should listen to what the Spirit says to the congregations! To him who overcomes I will give the right to eat the fruit of the tree of life that grows in the (Paradise) Garden of God.'

He who can hear let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations.'

The manifestation (expression) of the Spirit is given to everyone for a beneficial purpose. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the one Spirit;read more.
To another the workings of miracles and to another prophesy. To another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues. But in all these the same Spirit works, making a distribution to each one as he (God) wills.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all with one accord in one place. Suddenly there came a sound from heaven like a rushing mighty wind. It filled the house where they were sitting. Tongues of fire that sat on each of them appeared.read more.
They were all filled with the Holy Spirit. They began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit moved them to speak. Devout Jews from every nation under heaven were dwelling at Jerusalem. And they were all amazed and were in doubt. They asked each other: What does this mean?

We have gifts that differ according to the grace that is given to us. Whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

God has appointed some in the congregation: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helpers, abilities to direct, different tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

Love never fails. Where there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away. Where there are tongues, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. When the perfect comes, the partial (imperfect) (incomplete) will be done away.read more.
When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, and reason like a child. When I became an adult I did away with childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, and then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.

Pursue love, yet zealously desire spiritual gifts, especially prophesy (proclaiming God's Word). For the person who speaks in an unknown tongue does not speak to men, but to God. No man understands him. He speaks secrets by the spirit. But the person who prophesies (proclaims God's Word openly) speaks to men to build up, encourage and comfort.read more.
The person who speaks in an unknown tongue enlightens himself; but he who declares God's Word enlightens the entire congregation! I would like it that you all speak with tongues, but I prefer that you prophesy. The person who announces (teaches) (preaches) God's Word is greater than the person who speaks with tongues. The person who speaks with tongues should have an interpreter so the congregation may receive understanding and knowledge. Now, brothers, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine? Inanimate objects that make a sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? If the trumpet gives an unclear sound, who will prepare himself for the battle? The same for you unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will speak into the air. There are many kinds of languages in the world, and none of them is without meaning. Therefore if I do not know the meaning of what someone is saying I will be a foreigner to him that speaks. And he that speaks will be a foreigner to me too. As much as you are zealous for spiritual gifts, strive to build-up (increase) the enlightenment (understanding) of the congregation. Let the one who speaks in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret what he says. For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding (mind) is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding (Greek: nous: mind) also. I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding (mind) also. When you bless with the spirit, how will the audience of the unlearned say Amen at your giving of thanks, seeing he does not understand what you said? For you give thanks well, but the other is not given understanding. I thank God that I speak with tongues more then all of you. Yet in the congregation I would rather speak five words with my understanding than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. Brothers, do not be like children in understanding. When it comes to evil be innocent children but in your thinking be mature adults. It is written in the law: With men of other tongues and lips of foreigners I will speak to this people. Even then they will not listen to me, said Jehovah. Therefore speaking in tongues is a sign not for believers, but for those who do not believe. Prophesying (proclaiming God's Word) serves the believer and not the unbeliever. If therefore the whole congregation comes together in one place, and all speak with tongues, and the unlearned, or unbelievers, come there will they not say that you are out of your mind? But if all proclaim God's Word and an unbeliever comes there he is convinced by all. The secrets of his heart are made known. So falling down on his face he will worship God, and report, God is truly among you. How is it then, brothers? When you come together, every one of you has a psalm, has a doctrine, has a tongue, has a revelation, and has an interpretation. Let all things be done to clarify and offer understanding! If anyone speaks in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three. It should be orderly by plan and someone must interpret. But if there is no interpreter, let the speaker keep silence in the congregation and speak to himself and to God. Let two or three prophets speak and let the others listen. If there is a revelation to another while sitting there, let the others keep quiet. You may all prophesy one by one (in turn) that all may learn, and all may be comforted. Let the prophets control the spirits (minds) (mental disposition) of the prophets. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all the congregations of the holy ones.

He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers.

He reconciles all things, whether things upon the earth, or things in heaven.

Jesus cried out: He, who believes in me, believes not in me, but in him who sent me. He that sees me sees (perceives) (discerns) (experiences) the one who sent me.

Jesus responded: Have I been with you so long a time and you do not know me Philip? He who has seen me has discerned (experienced) (perceived) the Father. And you say, show us the Father?

He made known to us the secret of his will, according to his good pleasure and purpose. It was for an administration at the appointed time. This administration is to gather up all things in Christ, the things in heaven, and the things upon the earth. Yes in him!

Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my good news, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the secret, which was kept secret since the world began. It is now made known by the Scriptures of the prophets according to the commandment of the everlasting God. It is made known to all nations for the obedience of faith. To God, wise alone, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.

We speak the wisdom of God in a secret, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the ages (generations and human entities) for our glory. None of the rulers of this age knew (understood) for had they known it they would not have impaled the glorious Lord (esteemed Master). It is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, and it has not entered into the heart of man, the things God prepared for those who love him. (Isaiah 64:4)read more.
But God revealed them to us by his Spirit. For the Spirit investigates (searches) all things, yes even the deep things of God.

The secret was made known to me by revelation, just as I wrote before in few words. When you read this you can understand my insight into the secret of Christ. It was not made known to other generations of the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.read more.

To make all men see what is the administration of the secret which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things. It is the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known through the congregation and the rules and authorities in the heavenly places. This is according to the eternal purpose (determination) (design) (arrangement) that He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It was the good pleasure of the Father that in him all the fullness should dwell. And all things are reconciled through him. He made peace through the blood of his atonement (of the stake). He reconciles all things, whether things upon the earth, or things in heaven.
