I request (urge) (implore) you brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Also do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness. Present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness for God.
I have been impaled with Christ. It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh (physical body) I live by faith. This is the faith that is in the Son of God. He loved me and gave himself up for me.

He who wants to save his life will lose it. He who is willing to lose his life for my sake will find it.
Peter said to him: We have left all and followed you.
Surrender to Jehovah and wait patiently for him. Do not be preoccupied with an evildoer who succeeds in his way when he carries out his schemes.
Since the day we heard about you, we have not ceased to pray and make request for you. We pray for you to be filled with the [intimate accurate] knowledge (discernment) (recognition) of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. (Philippians 1:9) (John 17:3)
Do not get drunk with wine, for that is a public act of violence, but be filled with the Spirit.
Does a clay pot dare argue with its maker, a pot that is like all the others? Does the clay ask the potter what he is doing? Does the pot complain that its maker has no skill?
But now, Jehovah, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are our potter. We are the work of your hands.
Without faith it is impossible to please God. He who comes to God must believe that he is and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Whoever would save his life will lose it. Whoever would lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.
