This is My covenant, which you are to keep, between Me and you and your offspring after you: Every one of your males must be circumcised. For circumcision benefits you if you observe the law, but if you are a lawbreaker, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. Was anyone already circumcised when he was called? He should not undo his circumcision. Was anyone called while uncircumcised? He should not get circumcised. Circumcision does not matter and uncircumcision does not matter, but keeping God’s commands does.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.

For both circumcision and uncircumcision mean nothing; what matters instead is a new creation.

And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while still uncircumcised.
