And I say: In the Spirit walk ye, and the desire of the flesh ye may not complete; for the flesh doth desire contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these are opposed one to another, that the things that ye may will -- these ye may not do;

for ye were once darkness, and now light in the Lord; as children of light walk ye,

for through faith we walk, not through sight --

And I say: In the Spirit walk ye, and the desire of the flesh ye may not complete;

And the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law; and those who are Christ's, the flesh did crucify with the affections, and the desires;

and walk in love, as also the Christ did love us, and did give himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odour of a sweet smell,

Nun. A lamp to my foot is Thy word, And a light to my path.

He who is saying in him he doth remain, ought according as he walked also himself so to walk.

See, then, how exactly ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil;

if we may live in the Spirit, in the Spirit also we may walk;

to your walking worthily of the Lord to all pleasing, in every good work being fruitful, and increasing to the knowledge of God, in all might being made mighty according to the power of His glory, to all endurance and long-suffering with joy.

but to what we have come -- by the same rule walk, the same thing think; become followers together of me, brethren, and observe those thus walking, according as ye have us -- a pattern; for many walk of whom many times I told you -- and now also weeping tell -- the enemies of the cross of the Christ!

and be not drunk with wine, in which is dissoluteness, but be filled in the Spirit,

and Jesus himself was not trusting himself to them, because of his knowing all men, and because he had no need that any should testify concerning man, for he himself was knowing what was in man.

remain in me, and I in you, as the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, if it may not remain in the vine, so neither ye, if ye may not remain in me.
