'Day' in the Bible
He says to them, Come and see. They went therefore, and saw where he abode; and they abode with him that day. It was about the tenth hour.
And on the third day a marriage took place in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
And immediately the man became well, and took up his couch and walked: and on that day was sabbath.
And this is the will of him that has sent me, that of all that he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up in the last day.

The Jews therefore, that the bodies might not remain on the cross on the sabbath, for it was the preparation, (for the day of that sabbath was a great day,) demanded of Pilate that their legs might be broken and they taken away.
And on the first day of the week Mary of Magdala comes in early morn to the tomb, while it was still dark, and sees the stone taken away from the tomb.
When therefore it was evening on that day, which was the first day of the week, and the doors shut where the disciples were, through fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and says to them, Peace be to you.
