Now the king of Syria had commanded the thirty and two captains of his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.

For thus saith Jehovah, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, and ye shall drink, both ye and your cattle and your beasts.

And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to-day? it is neither new moon nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well.

And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing. Wherefore he returned to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awaked.

And Naaman said, If not, yet, I pray thee, let there be given to thy servant two mules burden of earth; for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt-offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto Jehovah.

And Elisha said unto them, This is not the way, neither is this the city: follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom ye seek. And he led them to Samaria.

So they came and called unto the porter of the city; and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but the horses tied, and the asses tied, and the tents as they were.

And he said, Take them alive. And they took them alive, and slew them at the pit of the shearing-house, even two and forty men; neither left he any of them.

And the priests consented that they should take no more money from the people, neither repair the breaches of the house.

But Jehovah was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet.

For Jehovah saw the affliction of Israel, that it was very bitter; for there was none shut up nor left at large, neither was there any helper for Israel.

Unto this day they do after the former manner: they fear not Jehovah, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law or after the commandment which Jehovah commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;

and the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget; neither shall ye fear other gods:

neither let Hezekiah make you trust in Jehovah, saying, Jehovah will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come unto this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither shall he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.

neither will I cause the feet of Israel to wander any more out of the land which I gave their fathers, if only they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.

Therefore, behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.

And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to Jehovah with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.

Howbeit the high places were not taken away; neither as yet had the people set their hearts unto the God of their fathers.

But he put not their children to death, but did according to that which is written in the law in the book of Moses, as Jehovah commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers; but every man shall die for his own sin.

and they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It pertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto Jehovah, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honor from Jehovah God.

For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves in sufficient number, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.

Now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you after this manner, neither believe ye him; for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of my hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your God deliver you out of my hand?

neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from off the land which I have appointed for your fathers, if only they will observe to do all that I have commanded them, even all the law and the statutes and the ordinances given by Moses.

Behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof. And they brought back word to the king.

And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did any of the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their prosperity for ever; that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever.

The eye which saw him shall see him no more; Neither shall his place any more behold him.

Their houses are safe from fear, Neither is the rod of God upon them.

Is not thy wickedness great? Neither is there any end to thine iniquities.

Because I was not cut off before the darkness, Neither did he cover the thick darkness from my face.

That path no bird of prey knoweth, Neither hath the falcon's eye seen it:

Man knoweth not the price thereof; Neither is it found in the land of the living.

It cannot be gotten for gold, Neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

Gold and glass cannot equal it, Neither shall it be exchanged for jewels of fine gold.

The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, Neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

For he hath not directed his words against me; Neither will I answer him with your speeches.

Let me not, I pray you, respect any man's person; Neither will I give flattering titles unto any man.

Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, Neither shall my pressure be heavy upon thee.

I am clean, without transgression; I am innocent, neither is there iniquity in me:

Yea, of a surety, God will not do wickedly, Neither will the Almighty pervert justice.

Surely God will not hear an empty cry , Neither will the Almighty regard it.

But now, because he hath not visited in his anger, Neither doth he greatly regard arrogance;

For let not wrath stir thee up against chastisements; Neither let the greatness of the ransom turn thee aside.

He scorneth the tumult of the city, Neither heareth he the shoutings of the driver.

Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, Neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

He mocketh at fear, and is not dismayed; Neither turneth he back from the sword.

He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage; Neither believeth he that it is the voice of the trumpet.

I will pursue mine enemies, and overtake them; Neither will I turn again till they are consumed.

For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Neither hath he hid his face from him; But when he cried unto him, he heard.

I have not sat with men of falsehood; Neither will I go in with dissemblers.

Hide not thy face from me; Put not thy servant away in anger: Thou hast been my help; Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; Neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, Neither be thou envious against them that work unrighteousness.
