'Scripture' in the Bible
“Therefore,” He said to them, “every student of Scripture instructed in the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who brings out of his storeroom what is new and what is old.”
Haven’t you read this Scripture:The stone that the builders rejectedhas become the cornerstone.
[So the Scripture was fulfilled that says: And He was counted among outlaws.]
He began by saying to them, “Today as you listen, this Scripture has been fulfilled.”
But He looked at them and said, “Then what is the meaning of this Scripture:The stone that the builders rejected—this has become the cornerstone?
So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this. And they believed the Scripture and the statement Jesus had made.
The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him.”
Doesn’t the Scripture say that the Messiah comes from David’s offspring and from the town of Bethlehem, where David once lived?”
If He called those whom the word of God came to ‘gods’—and the Scripture cannot be broken—
I’m not speaking about all of you; I know those I have chosen. But the Scripture must be fulfilled: The one who eats My bread has raised his heel against Me.
While I was with them,I was protecting them by Your namethat You have given Me.I guarded them and not one of them is lost,except the son of destruction,so that the Scripture may be fulfilled.

For what does the Scripture say?Abraham believed God,and it was credited to him for righteousness.

Now the Scripture says, Everyone who believes on Him will not be put to shame,
God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Or don’t you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he pleads with God against Israel?
Now the Scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and told the good news ahead of time to Abraham, saying, All the nations will be blessed through you.
But the Scripture has imprisoned everything under sin’s power, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
But what does the Scripture say?Drive out the slave and her son, for the son of the slave will never be a coheir with the son of the free woman.
For the Scripture says:Do not muzzle an oxwhile it is treading out the grain, and,the worker is worthy of his wages.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness,
In the one case, men who will die receive tenths, but in the other case, Scripture testifies that he lives.
Indeed, if you keep the royal law prescribed in the Scripture, Love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing well.
So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness, and he was called God’s friend.
Or do you think it’s without reason the Scripture says that the Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously?
For it is contained in Scripture:Look! I lay a stone in Zion,a chosen and honored cornerstone,and the one who believes in Himwill never be put to shame!
