1 The division of the porters among the Korahites: Meshelemiah the son of Kore of the children of Asaph.
1 Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
1 For the divisions of the gatekeepers there were of the Korahites, (a)Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of (b)Asaph.

1 The guild of trustees included, from the descendants of Korah, Kore's son Meshelemiah from Asaph's descendants;

19 These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore and the sons of Merari.

Treasurers And Other Officials
20 And of the Levites, Ahijah had the oversight of the treasure of the house of God, and of the treasure of the dedicated things.

20 Now with respect to the descendants of Levi, Ahijah was responsible for the treasuries of the Temple of God, including the treasuries containing dedicated gifts.
21 As concerning the sons of Ladan which were Gershonites: Ladan had ancient fathers. Ladan the Gershonite had Jehieli.
21 As concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, were Jehieli.
21 The sons of Ladan, the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan, namely, the Jehielites, were the heads of the fathers’ households, belonging to Ladan the Gershonite.
21 From the sons of Ladan, who were the sons of the Gershonites through Ladan and were the heads of families belonging to Ladan the Gershonite: Jehieli.
21 With respect to the descendants of Ladan, the Gershonite descendants pertaining to Ladan, the heads of families pertaining to Ladan the Gershonite, there was Jehieli.
22 The sons of Jehieli: Zetham and Joel his brother, which were over the treasures of the house of the LORD.

24 was Shebuel the son of Gershon the son of Moses a ruler over the treasure.

27 and the captains of the host had dedicated of the spoil won in battle, to maintain the house of the LORD:
27 Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the LORD.
27 They dedicated part of the plunder from their battles for the repair of the Lord’s temple.
27 They dedicated gifts for the maintenance of the Temple of the LORD from spoils of war.
28 and over all that Samuel the seer and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah had dedicated. All that was dedicated, was under the hand of Shelomoth and of his brethren.
28 And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.
28 And all that Samuel the seer had dedicated and Saul the son of Kish, Abner the son of Ner and Joab the son of Zeruiah, everyone who had dedicated anything, all of this was (k)in the care of (l)Shelomoth and his relatives.
28 All that Samuel the seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah had dedicated, along with everything else that had been dedicated, were in the care of Shelomith(e) and his brothers.
28 Furthermore, everything that Samuel the seer, Kish's son Saul, Ner's son Abner, and Zeruiah's son Joab had dedicated all of their dedicated gifts were under the care of Shelomoth and his brothers.
David Appoints Levites To Oversee Israel's Worship
29 Among the Izrahites was Chenaniah, with his sons, for the work without over Israel, officers and judges.
29 Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
29 As for the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons (G)were assigned to outside duties for Israel, as (H)officers and judges.

29 From the descendants of Izhar, Chenaniah and his sons were assigned as officers and judges with responsibilities relating to external duties.
30 And of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of activity a thousand and seven hundred, were officers in Israel on this side Jordan westward, in all businesses of the LORD and service of the king.
30 And of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side Jordan westward in all the business of the LORD, and in the service of the king.
30 As for the Hebronites, (I)Hashabiah and his relatives, 1,700 capable men, had charge of the affairs of Israel (m)west of the Jordan, for all the work of the Lord and the service of the king.
30 From the Hebronites: Hashabiah(G) and his relatives, 1,700 capable men, had assigned duties in Israel west of the Jordan for all the work of the Lord and for the service of the king.
30 From the descendants of Hebron, Hashabiah and his relatives 1,700 outstanding men were assigned oversight of Israel west of the Jordan regarding all of the LORD's work and services on behalf of the king.
31 And Jerijah was the chiefest among the kindreds and fathers of the Hebronites. And in the fortieth year of the kingdom of David they were sought for. And there were found of them men of activity at Jazer in Gilead.
31 Among the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.

31 From the Hebronites: Jerijah(H) was the head of the Hebronites, according to the genealogical records of his ancestors. A search was made in the fortieth year of David’s reign and strong, capable men were found among them at Jazer(I) in Gilead.
31 From the descendants of Hebron, Jerijah was assigned chief of the descendants of Hebron. During the fortieth year of David's administration, a search was made by genealogical record, family by family, to find men of great ability, including those found at Jazer in Gilead.
32 And his brethren were in men of activity, two thousand and seven hundred ancient heads, which king David made rulers over the Reubenites, Gadites and the half tribe of Manasseh in all matters pertaining to God and businesses of the king.
32 And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.
32 and his relatives, capable men, were 2,700 in number, heads of fathers’ households. And King David made them overseers of the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of the Manassites (L)concerning (o)all the affairs of God and of the king.
