Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,
1 Kings 6:16
He built twenty cubits on the rear part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the ceiling; he built them for it on the inside as an inner sanctuary, even as the most holy place.
2 Chronicles 3:5
the main room with cypress wood and overlaid it with fine gold, and ornamented it with palm trees and chains.
Then he measured the temple, a
hundred cubits long; the separate area with the building and its walls were also a hundred cubits long.
For there was
a tabernacle prepared, the outer one, in which were the lampstand and the table and the sacred bread; this is called the holy place.
And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury.
1 Kings 6:5

The side chambers were in three stories, one above another, and thirty in each story; and the side chambers extended to the wall which stood on their inward side all around, that they might be fastened, and not be fastened into the wall of the temple itself.

Then he took
the testimony and put it into the ark, and attached the poles to the ark, and put the mercy seat on top of the ark.
1 Kings 6:19
Then he prepared an inner sanctuary within the house in order to place there the ark of the covenant of the Lord.
2 Chronicles 5:7
Then the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the holy of holies, under the wings of the cherubim.

cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat; but of these things we cannot now speak in detail.
He made a

The porch in front of the nave of the house was twenty cubits
in length, corresponding to the width of the house, and its depth along the front of the house was ten cubits.
