For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.

so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,

by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might

make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace,

to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,

for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

and not holding fast to the head, from whom the entire body, being supplied and held together by the joints and ligaments, grows with a growth which is from God.

a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised,

barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.
