As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.

Now I mean this, that
each one of you is saying, “I am of Paul,” and “I of Apollos,” and “I of Cephas,” and “I of Christ.”
1 Corinthians 3:5
What then is Apollos? And what is Paul?
Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one.
Now a Jew named
Apollos, an Alexandrian by birth, an eloquent man, came to Ephesus; and he was mighty in the Scriptures.
It happened that while
Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus, and found some disciples.
But when the
kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,
There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a
time for every event under heaven—
A strategic day came when Herod on his birthday
gave a banquet for his lords and military commanders and the leading men of Galilee;
But as he was discussing
righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix became frightened and said, “Go away for the present, and when I find time I will summon you.”
