The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 7:10
But to the married I give instructions,
not I, but the Lord, that the wife should not leave her husband
the married woman is bound by law to her husband while he is living; but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concerning the husband.
that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were
beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.
you shall not intermarry with them; you shall not give your daughters to their sons, nor shall you take their daughters for your sons.
Judah has dealt
treacherously, and an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the sanctuary of the Lord which He loves and has married the daughter of a foreign god.
2 Corinthians 6:14
Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
