Solomon's Apostasy

³ And he had seven hundred very Queens and three hundred concubines which turned always his heart. ⁴ For when Solomon was old, his wives turned his heart after other gods: so that his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. ⁵ And Solomon followed Ashtaroth the goddess of the Sidonians, and Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
