⁵ I am determined to build a great Temple. This is because our God is greater than all other gods. ⁶ But who is able to build a house for Him, for the heavens and the highest heavens cannot contain Him? So who am I, that I should build a house for Him, except to burn incense before Him? ⁷ Send me a man with skill in engraving, in working gold, silver, copper, and iron, and in making blue, purple, and red cloth. He will work with the craftsmen of Judah and Jerusalem whom my father David selected.

1 Kings 8:27

Can you, O God, really live on earth? Not even heaven or the heaven of heavens is large enough to hold you. How can this Temple I have built be large enough?

2 Chronicles 6:18

Does God really live on earth with people? If heaven and the highest heaven cannot hold you, then how can this Temple that I have built?

But Moses said: Who am I to go to Pharaoh and lead your people out of Egypt?

Deuteronomy 12:5-6

You should seek Jehovah at the place Jehovah your God chooses out of all your tribes. This is where he will dwell and establish his name. This is where you should go.

Deuteronomy 12:11

It will happen in the place Jehovah choose for his name to dwell, there you shall bring all that I command you. Bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution of your hand, and all your choice vowed offerings that you will vow to Jehovah.

but in the place Jehovah chooses in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command you.
