¹ Now, Jehoram son of Ahab, began to reign over Israel, in Samaria, in the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, - and he reigned twelve years. ² And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, only, not like his father, nor like his mother, - but he put away the pillars of Baal which, his father, had made; ³ nevertheless, unto the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat which he caused Israel to commit, he did cleave, - he turned not away therefrom
