And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.
But going on from Perga, they arrived at
Pisidian Antioch, and on the Sabbath day they went into the synagogue and sat down.
according to Paul’s custom, he went to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures,
And he was reasoning
in the synagogue every Sabbath and trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.
the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to leave the next day, and he prolonged his message until midnight.
They passed through the
Phrygian and Galatian region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia;
our days there were ended, we left and started on our journey, while they all, with wives and children, escorted us until we were out of the city. After kneeling down on the beach and praying, we said farewell to one another.
When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him.
large crowds gathered to Him, so He got into a boat and sat down, and the whole crowd was standing on the beach.
closed the book, gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on Him.
Early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people were coming to Him; and
He sat down and began to teach them.
And He said to them,
“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
if indeed you continue in
the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.
