Peter's Sermon On The Day Of Pentecost

¹⁹ I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. ²⁰ ‘The sun will be turned into darkness
And the moon into blood,
Before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come.
²¹ It will come to pass, that whoever will call on the name of Jehovah will be saved. (Joel 2:32)

Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened. The moon will not give light. The stars will fall from heaven. The powers of the heavens will be shaken.

2 Peter 3:10

The day of Jehovah will come as a thief. The heavens will pass away with a great noise. The elements shall be dissolved with intense heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up (destroyed). (Joel 2:31) (Zephaniah 1:14)

Amos 8:9

It will happen in that day, said the Lord Jehovah, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day.

Isaiah 2:12-21

All who are proud will be humbled. Jehovah of Hosts will have his day against all who are arrogant and conceited.

Behold! The Day of Jehovah is coming! It will be cruel, with fury and burning anger. It will make the land desolation and exterminate the sinners from it.
