And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.
and from there to
Philippi, which is a leading city of the district of Macedonia, a Roman colony; and we were staying in this city for some days.
Paul and To Timothy, bond-servants of Christ Jesus, all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, including the overseers and deacons:
1 Thessalonians 2:2
but after we had already suffered and been
mistreated in Philippi, as you know, we had the boldness in our God to speak to you the gospel of God amid much opposition.
When he saw that it
pleased the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter also. Now it was during the days of Unleavened Bread.
this day will be a memorial to you, and you shall celebrate it as a feast to the Lord; throughout your generations you are to celebrate it as a permanent ordinance.
