But Peter put them all out of the room. Then he knelt down and prayed, and then turning to the body he said, "Tabitha, stand up!" She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up.

With these words, he knelt down with them all and prayed.

But when our time was up, we left there and went on, and all of them with their wives and children escorted us out of the town. There we knelt down on the beach and prayed;

And he withdrew about a stone's throw from them, and kneeling down he prayed

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for your persecutors,

bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.

And they divided up his clothes among them by drawing lots for them,

Now David, after serving God's purposes in his own generation, fell asleep and was laid among his forefathers and did undergo decay,

This is why many of you are sick and ill and a number have fallen asleep.

After that he was seen by more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, although some of them have fallen asleep.

We do not want you to be under any misapprehension, brothers, about those who are falling asleep. You must not grieve for them, as others do who have no hope.
