Put Off The Old Behavior

⁸ But now you also should stop practicing them: anger, wrath, malice, slander, filthy language from your mouth. ⁹ Do not lie to one another, since you have put away [the conduct of] your old person with its practices, ¹⁰ and have put on the new person, who is being [daily] renewed with full knowledge, according to the image of God, who [re-] created him.

Ephesians 4:22

You were [taught] to put away [the conduct of] your former lifestyle, your old person who is being corrupted by deceitful desires,

John 8:44
